hard to get a decision when u land ZERO clean punches and only about 5 or 6 uppercuts the entire fight that were all partially blocked. on the other hand, lara was out worked too frequently, which cost him a couple rounds although molina didn't do much in those rounds either. Are you forgetting Lara's poor performance against Molina and Martirosyan? He also didn't look spectacular in his fight with Angulo. Lara tends to underperform at times. Atleast with Canelo he wins the fights he's favored to win. Also you say Lara has to be more active and throw more power punches, but that's easier said than done. Sometimes a fighter is what he is, he's economical and that's a habit from his amateur boxing days. Not sure if someone who's style is ingrained in him can change over night. With that being said, this is a 50/50 fight and I'm not sure how it's going to play out.

I had it Molina 1-3-8-10 (4 rounds) - Lara 2-4-5-6-7-9 (6 rounds) ...was a styles make fights deal. Molina was more active, Lara was much more accurate. Molina fell in a grabbed a lot, Lara waited a lot. I could imagine a draw, but no way do I think Molina won that fight, nor did he show to be as good a fighter as Lara and definitely not better, contrary to some idiocies. Bring on the Canelo Vs. Lara bout. Can't keep hiding him from the top 10 Jr. MW's. This was a match of two top 10 Jr. MW's.

Molina did so much holding it was ridiculous. His whole fight plan was to duck Lara's left and fall into a clinch. This was a hug fest. Don't see how so many think Molina was a clear winner here. The punch stats numbers are usually bogus and they were here too. Molina rarely connected cleanly, minus his body work, though even that was in large part smothered in the second half of the fight. Lara seemed more accurate and did more damage, even if it was still minor. It could have gone either way and I favored Lara 6-4.
