Great, great actor was Mr. Borgnine. He was very much in demand for decades and always switched between films and TV so effortlessly.

He is the hardest working man in show business. He gave his life to the screen and never stopped until God came calling.

He’s my favorite Hollywood actor. He was so genuine. What a sweet man.

Ernest Borgnine, what a great storyteller he was which no doubt contributed to him being such a gifted actor. ❤🥰❤

One thing that was not mentioned was the fact that Borgnine was the worldwide ambassador for the Shriners and Scottish Rite. He was known as one of the nicest folks in Hollywood.

I used to collect "bad guys". That is I would have coffee with an actor who played bad guys. I could usually get a 30 minutes coffee break. Richard Lynch, Rutger Hauer, almost all of them would have a few minutes for a quick coffee. And a happy chat about what they were currently doing. What their favorite part ever was. And all those guys who played bad guys. Were the sweetest people ever. I actually got to dance with Sarah Douglas. All these leading ladies who never had time. And I wish that I had had the nerve to record some of these coffee breaks. But it was just a new pal relax chat off-the-record fun thing.

I was wondering if The Devil's Rain would come up. I would love to hear more about the filming of that. What a cast for such a crazy movie....you ha e done such a wonderful job being able to have these lengthy interviews which really feel more like a conversation. What a warm human being Borgnine was...wow, a real treat and something that is truly lacking with Hollywood stars today.

Tremendous. Watch his acceptance speech for the Oscar. So dignified. Just finished watching his two-part guest appearance on Little House. I'm a mess.
