Amazing artist. Adam is so honest and open - it seems like he is one of the few real kind artists with honest attention. His guitar playing is absolutely spot-on. In other interviews he also mentioned he does not even like playing especially difficult riffs and he does not go over the top with bending and such techniques. If you are a guitar player yourself, just check out the chords he is playing in the acoustic Red Eyes riff, around 09:00/10:00 or something. The chords are fairly easy: Em, G, something that looks like a Cadd9, D, Cmaj... In my opinion, you are a real good artist if you know how to make something new out of that. It's his imagination, feel for rhythm, the strumming technique, the harmonics... Just wonderful.

Adam Granduciel: Bob Dylan mixed with U2 and a splash of Bruce Springsteen. I love this band, I can't believe I just found this video. Thanks EB!

Adam lives between notes and it constantly expanding that space when he explored a chord progression - fascinated with his style because I think the same way.

Me too. I'm obsessed with this band and Adam's playing. He inspired a lot the way I play and how I try to get the most out of a chord, the intervals, the way notes are connected through the chords. It's a wonderful journey.

I remember that KEXP session with Cheryl Waters. As much as I made fun of her for her emotional response to Ocean Between the Waves, I totally get it; the song as incredible and it has so much complexity and so many layers that I can understand why she as a host could get carried away emotionally. That's the sign that your music is Truly Great.

is the Jeff he mentions Jeff Ziegler?
@ruthmannahan9240
@ruthmannahan9240 10 ай бұрын
No. Jeff is a childhood friend who helped Adam want to play 🎸 in the beginning when he was around 13. This led to Adam wanting his own 🎸. Adam met recording engineer/producer Jeff Ziegler in Philly which resulted in the Lost In The Dream album.
