Winston Zeddemore. The level headed one and only one of the four that didn’t seem to have some kooky traits to his personality. You have to remember though, Winston wasn’t a scientist He was a blue collar guy who’s biggest concern was having a job that made enough money, which made his character easy to relate to. The reason he seemed to fit right in so well seemed to be his ability to always keep an open mind. They could have just as easily done this with another white character written into the screen play. But I think Aykroyd and Ramis wanted appeal to a broader audience. On top of the fact that the story takes place right smack in the middle of NYC, so to not have an African American in a leading role somewhere would have simply seemed disingenuous.

I don't know where but I remember reading an article around the time Ghostbusters The Game came out and the film was released on Blu-Ray. Ernie Hudson's agent didn't get him as good a deal as the other actors got so his name didn't appear on the posters, trailers, etc. That's the same reason why he's not in a lot of the old video games

I remember the remake of the Ghost Busters 2 VHS cover, and poor Ernie wasn't on that one either. I was pissed.

Yeah, I hate how Winston doesnt get enough props, In both films he was apparently cut out of the whole first half of them despite originally beingthere in the scripts.
