Ernie Kovacs and wife Edie Adams appear as guest panelists on a 1956 episode of "I've Got a Secret" with regular panelists Bill Cullen and Faye Emerson, and host Don McNeill substituting for vacationing Garry Moore.
This is Part 1 of 2. This segment features contestant Johnny Miller of Portland, Oregon, whose secret is that he can play five musical instruments at one time. And he really can (pretty much), as he demonstrates very entertainingly after the game is played.
Part 2 of this program, featuring a claimed descendant of Lady Godiva and actress Sheree North, can be found here: • Ernie Kovacs and Edie ...

When he said "We're not married Faye, are we ?" he meant to each other. Ernie & Edie were so great together. Ernie was so ahead of his time. He was beyond being great. Watch them on The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour as special guests. He was my Dads favorite. Watch Edies guest appearance w David Letterman from 1982 . A local station was using some of Ernie's old shows to tape over the news Edie found out about this & bought those left back. I get sick when I think of what all may have been lost on those tapes.I understand it was she & JACK LEMMON who were The Nairobi Trio. Jack also identified Ernie after his tragic car crash when Edie was too traumatized by the shocking news. Another genius lost too soon I think of all the great laughs we all missed. Most importantly the sadness for Edie.

I think the joke was that they weren't married to each other like the other two panelists that night, Edie and Ernie. They were both married to other people however..

Don Mc Neill , the guest host was a radio vetaran . Dig that voice of his ! He hosted The Breakfast Club radio program from Chicago for over 35 years , from 1933 to 1968 . This was longer than Carson hosted The Tonight Show or Barker hosted The Price Is Right on television . His programs were broadcast by the NBC Blue and its successor the ABC radio networks . He was considered at one time a midwest competitor to morning radio heavywright Arthur Godfrey .en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don_McNeill_(radio_presenter)#:~:text=From-,Wikipedia,-%2C%20the%20free%20encyclopedia
