Longest I ever stayed up was like 58 hours (maybe passed out for 45 minutes on accident but it was broken) and by the end I felt like I was tweaking, lol

The McGarrigle Sisters used to come to NYC every year to perform at the now-gone Bottom Line. I went to every concert and loved it.

Paul Newman was so handsome here. I can't imagine seeing him out in public. Nobody at the baseball game recognized him, though.

Get for me a dog that bites Turn him loose on moonless nights Get for me a dog that bays And turn him loose on sunless days Someone's trying to hurt me Build for me a house of stone Lock it up when you leave me alone And cage it in a fence of iron To keep your child from all harm Mother Mother oh help me Someone's trying to hurt me Mother Mother oh help me Someone's trying to hurt me Mother Mother oh help me Get for me a bird of prey Starve it night and day And turn em loose where tyrants dwell And make a heaven from this hell Mother Mother oh help me Someone's trying to hurt me Mother Mother oh help me Someone's trying to hurt me Mother Mother oh help me (Repeat)

As a piper I saw this and was all ready to shoot arrows. But this is awesome! It’s complete instrument abuse but he makes it work in a non traditional and creative way. 🎉

All 3 were great; I wouldn't have known which one if I hadn't seen the album cover. It's too bad the real Jackie had no sense of humor and hated the album because it "made fun of children". Gimme a break!

What a fabulous soothing voice Willis had , like honey dripping from a spoon . I like some jazz but I'd tune in especially to hear that voice in a million .

He was a great broadcaster who introduced me to jazz in the mid-1960s. Only wish there was a way to listen to some of his complete shows once more. Willis seems like such a nice man, too.

Whereas the original was a tuneful lament, this is a tuneless dirge. Rufus destroys it, in sound and looks. Trying too hard to be reverent and emotional. Yuk.
