Epic tank is so good with these updates. we will finally be able to make horror maps with creatures that actually look scary and aren't some goofy character that chases you with a knife, the one thing i most despised about traitor npcs are the knives, it's literally so immersion-breaking.

Another downside to NPCs is that even if you set their speed to be faster than the player they still wont catch up to them, it's like they stop walking for less than a second once they're close, so they're just constantly behind you but dont kill you. I dont know if this is a ping issue or something but it's what happens to me.

It happens in normal piggy too with duocara, so it’s not the npcs problem

It already happends with other bots. Smoothest example just crouching and you're pretty much unreachable for every bot that follows you

This is on purpose, since if this didnt exist, when you crouched while a bot or npc was right behind you, you would die and this would be very frustrating, since you are always going through vents on the main game. this also happens when you are on a bot trap, since the bot doesnt kill you when you are trapped.

One more problem, the Custom Help NPCs only attacks the Main Piggy and doesn't attack the Custom Chase NPCs (Or atleast doesn't chase them, they will still attack Chase NPCs if they touch eachother) Another problem that I found is that the Chase NPCs are really easy to avoid, cause once they catch up to you, they stop moving for a second. So this means you can literally avoid them at all times as long as you keep moving, even while crouching

Fun Fact: If you set the custom npc's to "Helper (Friendly)" and and don't give a requirement item it auto kills any Hostile npcs!

A down side to custom NPCs is that you have to buy the layered clothing you want and arrange them how you want which I think it should be inside the customizer screen too where you can change the arrangement of the layered clothing

cool it seems like i can now make my piggy map more "lore accurate" and turn the piggy bot into a minecraft zombie... or now that i thought of a funnier concept some of the minecraft creepypasta characters like cave dweller man from the fog and big eater or even the character allready added in minecraft which is warden (the map i made starts in a minecraft themed area)

It makes it so much easier for maps! Usually, using player ids can change the avatar if that person changes. But, the custom npc is permanent with your desired assets.

finally I can make night shift at graveyard's or Baldi's Basic Or Thats not my neighbour on piggy build mode. Bro this could be better, oh and better ideas: 1st ideaº Resize the NPC character into a smol kid, into a slender.. :pain: but still it's better, u can add more things to end looking like blender modeling, u model your character with avatar things. 2nd ideaº Make custom NPCs have like a modeling or a rig, thats how we have blender right? but if we dont want to publish for copyright or anything, we can just make it there, using build mode parts, ofc im not gonna make Epic Tank and MiniToon suffer with codes.. but u can model with build mode blocks untill idk, they want to put as blender modeling to u send onto your servers. 3rd ideaº NPCs can have their own things, but what about play the game too, well what the idea im getting is to do anything after u trigger something, like imagine u push a button then the NPC just beats the whole house of yours by using patrols on all houses and the raycasting of the NPC, but yea it could be fun if u make like a code to make NPC do anything, like simple scratch blocks coding, you know scratch right? ima tell you, Scratch is a online childhood block coding game creating (not sayin allat and u not readin allat.) well yea, we can use links as the coding, but i mean by custom links that never goes of limit on the connections there are. (why am i talking about this, aint was this on the 4th idea? well idc.) 4th ideaº (pls last one...) custom coding with links, like custom links, u can do a move link to move anything, or one to rotate, the one is that u know what it does and how u connect, or multiple connections to make codes like you know, coding on scratch and putting a button say hello with the most advanced minecraft contraption u can think of or idk, its your choice but yeah. (why did i say all of this.. 🙏💀)

Hey ernie! why are half blocks in build mode NOT scaleable it could be very useful as the slab can only be tilted vertically in one direction unlike the half block which can be rotated in all directions. But since its not scaleable you have to place a VERTICAL slab against another VERTICAL slab to get the direction you want to then resize and this is where the problem is if you want to place it on an offset you just cant as it can only place it on the orignal rotation as if antoher slab was placed while the other was on an OFFSET it would just clip though the block. you may think well ill just use the half block BUT since its not scaleable you need to place multiple taking up MORE MAP DATA.
