I don't know. I'm an American, and I find Madhuri just so. . .lovely. I can't think of anything more beautiful than a woman who just exudes sweetness, grace, and kindness. She may not have the "perfect" features of Ash, but Madhuri's obvious inner beauty magnifies her already wonderful outer beauty. Madhuri just has something special about her.

Are you for real? Madhuri is CLASSIC, man! Her dancing and beauty remains ethereal even at the age of 40. Just watch the way she can control even the slightest flutter of her eyelid when she dances. In the current generation Devdas role could be best played by only Shahrukh (Ajay could have acted like that but he doesn't have that charm), Aishwarya was the best choice for Paro's role cause the innocence as well as maturity,sweet as well as arrogant could be only showed by her, and Madhuri has the perfect grace and attitude of Chandramukhi..and no doubt in 2000s only these two were the best dancers ..Really The best star cast..of course Kiron Mam..and she was brilliant in this movie and others too....Thanks to Bhansali sir..Thanks a lot for giving us this classic movie with classic songs and dances..

Lol king of overacting SRK? what a joke.. any new actor could play this part much better than SRk: Ranveer , Varun, Ranbir, Rajkummar Rao, Ayush Khurana. Heck even Tiger Shroff can play better than SRK. And Deepika Padukone can play Aish's role. Or Katrina Kaif. Only one hard to replace is Madhuri. She has excellent grace and dance moves..
