He should have charged AT LEAST 500 and more likely 1k based solely on what they said. They literally told him it was worth more. Now, they do have to find a buyer so there is a small price drop. They said they could sell the staff for between 1k and 10k, so assuming an average quality staff using the stone, it would sell for around 5k. Labor costs should be around 500 (generously) for the work (using the crafting of mithril pots costing less than 12 gold as the baseline) the guild should make around 4500 off the sale. He could split 50-50 and take 2250 easily if he were shrewd. But MC is canonically a moron so he got scammed ... in character?

If I had to guess the trick is his auto ability is using his max level self as the template for how his auto mode should act. The greater his auto ability improves the higher up his max level goes. A level 5 auto mode attacks like a level 50. The more it improves the more insane his abilities become as his max level increase. That explains why the general was easy because his max level self would find it a minimal challenge. It also explains why it shrugged off the damage like it was nothing as the max level sees small bruises as nothing but low level sees these as critical damage. I think the best asset for him would be a healer to keep his health maxed out while he fights. That way he can come out of fights with minimal damage and thus be able to repeat spam the auto ability at timed intervals.

@@southgamez in a fantasy setting there aren't labor laws like minimum wage. There also isn't welfare. Him bringing in wealth secures her job and brings the likelihood of her getting a raise. If they scare away cash cows then her wages will stagnate, more likely decrease, and worst of all she could lose her job. Ppl are entitled now because life is easy. In a harsh world, like a fantasy setting, the average person would not be entitled (Emphasis on average. Obviously, nobles and powerful ppl would be even more entitled in that type of class based society). I understand the guild leader's curiosity/suspicions, but harassing a cash cow can scare them away. If someone was spying on me and interrogating me I know I would go somewhere else to do business. The guild leader could just ask if they can send an observer with him to see how he works and make sure he isn't stealing his quest items or anything shady like that. That way is ethical and more efficient. Spying and interrogating isn't ethical at all and can result in loss of business and it's not efficient. They aren't getting the answers they want. An observer will be able to get them more detailed information in one try and would not scare away or annoy their cash cow.

It was clearly stated that the shortest route by horse (faster than a donkey) was 2hrs, and he arrived there in 1 hour, and he also mentionned how he can travel a 3-6 hour journey in 15-30 minutes. This means that the power is does find the shortest route, but unbeknownst to the MC (as he is sleeping), also provides a great boost in his speed. We saw an example of this when he was observed mining in a way that the ninja could not keep up with, and seen to affect his chosen modes of transportation when his donkey bolted to the field at speeds faster than a horse could run.

Glad you made a video. This is one that seems interesting but I'll probably drop it. I just read too many and see where this is going. The story is going to stall and go nowhere while they repeat the same scenes. Like; OMG how he found this SS-rank ore that's worth 50k gold coins and OMG he solo 5 of S-rank dragons (they already started it with the spirit gem and mandrake). They always make the same mistakes where they ruin the MC by making them OP too soon and have made huge achievements at the beginning. MC is already finding S-rank materials that can buy a castle and can solo an A-rank monster. This is why it fails, the MC has no where to go afterwards. No room for improvements and just a bunch of side stories where Auto solves all problems. They should of made the Auto-skill work like this: E-rank Auto skill can only find E-rank material and fight E-rank monsters and anything higher says ???. The sad part that this is going to be another one the author never finishes and drops.
