The reason I remember this story is because of MC's method of obtaining OP skills was to Appraise thousands of slimes until he had dry bloodshot eyes just for that one skill he wanted, reminds me of endlessly loading a save state for a better rng drop.

Limited slots according to level, skills with ranks so u cant cut higer rank skills, when u paste a skill u get its basic form so u gotta lvl it up or paste more skills of the same skill tree, etc. A nice idea worth of expanding, but u would need a smarter MC

A couple times the MC doesnt steal his opponent's abilities at the very start of the fight. As soon as he decides he is commiting to a fight the first thing he should do is steal their abilities. It is so dumb to fight without stealing their abilities. If he wants I am pretty sure he can paste their abilities back on to them afterwards. I don't see any reason why he shouldn't be able to. That way if its not a fight to the death and he doesn't want them to know his capabilities at most they will think he disabled their abilities temporarily. They will have no clue what his true powers are.

Thank you.. it irritated me to no end.. “Dumb Author” is a little more fitting as no one would simply let themselves be killed (not hurt, KILLED) because they didn’t want to expose a secret. His attackers fist was bigger than his own body. The Mc only had 50 million skills to pick from in that instance. He was there to become an adventurer not an insurance salesman so using one of his many skills should have been trivial. As you say.. I find the worse bit about it to be that the MC wants to both keep his skills a secret AND save anyone in need, when really, doing one will mean failing to do the other. It means that his priorities flip-flop so much in every interaction that it makes all the combat feel unnecessary as he could just curb-stomp them with his abilities.
