Erreth Akbe is a reference to a Wizard of Earthsea, and all the song titles are references to second book, The Tombs of Atuan. Its the story of a child who has their whole self stolen from them, only to be raised in darkness, for darkness to become their entire identity, until a certain wizard shows up in search of the ring of Erreth Akbe. If you havent read that series and this album compels you to do so, it was fully worth it.
