Error 1 code on Culligan Water Softener

Very detailed! Thank you. I unfortunately have an E4 code which i suspect happened after a power outage. Is the fix for E4 code similar?

Yes E1 E2 E3 and E4 are all codes indicating that the water softener is stuck in a cycle and is not advancing to the next cycle for various reasons. One of which may happen if the power goes out while the water softener is in the regeneration process. If you follow these steps in the video you should get it back and running. What if the can is not turning?

That means the seal pack is extremely dry and stuck. If the cam is not moving while in regeneration try taking some channel locks around the cam and carefully help it turn. As you can see in this video this cam was having a hard time as well
