Error Code: 1-80004005

Great informational video. Even 6 years later, I reinstalled FSX/Acceleration and got this error code. As soon as you mentioned the registration editor, it took me back in my memory. I had spent an entire day trying to fix this problem. For me, the solution was changing lower case "p" and lower case "m" to upper case. Silly, but it worked ... thanks. P.S. Isn't it strange how 16 years after release of FSX, Gates is still hell-bent on sucking every dollar out of every pauper, pensioner and person on the planet.

The vital thing to do here is to change the "partmgr" to "PartMgr" just cap P and cap M

Have Windows 10. Regedit will not bring up those numbers. Brings up everything else except those numbers. It seems Microsoft would provide a ling to click on to bring up activate now. All i EVER get is this when error notice appears and I click yes. 925723 and NOT > Error Code 1-80004005.

What I did was simply ran Acceleration - then clicked repair and that solved the issue for me.
