Obviously rivals and reactive United fans will have something to say, but I'm calm and relaxed about the whole thing... The manager used it as an opportunity to continue giving players a fair chance to sink or swim and we got clear individual errors costing the team again. Sure, you always want to win but if Amorim only played his most trusted players and only cared about winning (which was ETH's mistake), we wouldn't make any progress with figuring out this squad and making plans for the summer. I'm proud of the difficult job Amorim is doing under pressure; Keep giving these players opportunities to fail, keep making big calls, dropping underachieving big names and we'll be much better in the long run. Hojlund has no future as a starter, even being coached by Ruud he's added nothing to his game in 12 months. I think Martinez would be a better holding midfielder than a centre back now, he's got a decent pass and he can be a destroyer but he's a bozo under pressure and you can't rely on him to be the last line of defence with a cool head. All I have to say about Ruben Amorim from this night is that we've got a very good coach - tactical and so detailed. He has a clear style of play and knows exactly what he wants from his players.
