Eryone have made good looking and easy to use 3d printing filament dryer.
Do you need to dry your filament or makes it any difference? I tried it and watch my experience. This video includes unboxing and testing.

Thank you for the honest review! IT tells me, that I will keep my oven as main drying device. My dryer box can't get the RV more than 20% below outside. Not enough for proper drying. The oven can easily reach 10% RV with only 45°C.

You need to dry the silica packets that come with it. the humidity should be way lower out of the box. I have this exact model and i dried the 10g packets at 150F in the the oven until they dropped substantially in weight. The humidity went from 40%pre-dry to 5% post-dry.

Try to watch if spool is rolling freely. Maybe it is against somewhere or rolls under the spool don't move smooth.

What works better is getting a cardboard box. Poke holes in the top then set your bed to like 70c then put filament on your bed and cover with the box. If you wanna go pro. Add that humidity gauge to the box

Pondering the irony of shipping a filament drier box with desiccant in the package! LOL Just thought of a question; is there such a thing as TOO dry (dried out) for filament (especially PLA)? Not that I am the English police, but the past tense of to wind is wound (as in I wound the filament back on the roll)

Sorry for my mistake. English isn't my main language. Desiccant packs is for drying filaments. The pack goes inside the dryer and it absorbs the moisture, which comes from drying. I haven't experienced too dry filament, but I can't say it's not possible.

I heard you say it and just after 50+ years speaking the language it ran the bell (as it were), the funny thing is that I had to think about the proper word/tense for about the rest of the video LOL P.S. ty for the info I appreciate it.

Do you really need to dry PLA? I thought that it wasn't necessary.

Usually you don't need. It depends how and where you storage your filament.

Hi. Are you ready? To all farms. Im embarking on a 3d print comunity challenge. Name legit print farms. How to show they are legit? A hidden camera for youtube would be entertaining. To sell a 3d print the farm checks licenses and pays royalty to the actual licensed thing owner. Owners payment shows. Easy. Failure to license check and pay required royalty is piracy. Pirate farms being closed is a big gain for the honest comunities value jobs and businesses. Now lets see, Name the legit farms? Show the hidden camera footage? Im thinking i might make a vid to sum up results. Whos actually stepping up and name all the companies im sending this to who didnt. Yes that sounds good.
