It takes a Lot of effort to draw and maintain serpent like monsters.... You know, it's not like they stand still like humans, or the fact they have tail, wings, spikes, scales, arms and legs

well it's hard to animate big entities in 2D like dragons but hey it's better than cgi dragons

Simple. Its the size of the background. It would take huge amount of budget to have it rly well animated.

To be honest and fair this is a main boss fight the animation and budget is more likely going to go towards the next episode or 2

It is not easy to animate very detailed creatures. That’s why you barely see very detailed creatures or ugly characters because it’s a hassle to animate a bunch of extra details.

Love the color scheme of the scene but where is all the fluidity in battle sequences ?. It’s not there . They feel like I’m watching the manga. Definitely not the same . Erza walking up there slow was aggravating . and you don’t get to see any ones attacks land.

Guys mercphobia deserves better than this. first his powers causes a town he holds dear to be submerged, then his control of his powers is taken away by the white mage and then the only way to stop him is to “kill him” said by his assistant. Very saddening. The dragon has changed from muderous to a caring ruler before the rampage

nah, each episode covers 4 chapters from the manga, 25 episodes can cover at least 100 or more...

@@animetv848 water dragon arc has only 24 chapters so how can it even reach episode 12? lol, my comment is based of facts and calculations, each episodes cover at least 3 to 4 chapters and that's a fact, you can't change that🤡
