Unpopular opinion here, but I wouldn't hate if Ibuki joined Akatsuki permanently. I love Akatsuki, it's one of my favorite units in the game, and I think adding another member would be so interesting. Looking forward to whatever actually ends up happening.

⁠​⁠​​⁠​⁠It sounds interesting, but i feel like itd be very hard for something like that to work well, especially since the approach the writers have with ibuki is sensitive and easy to mess up (like how they did in matrix) and aktk’s group dynamic is already well developed to be 3 within these past 9 yrs. The event story right now already shows inconsistencies and regression with the characterization which has me a bit worried for the second part 😅 hoping the best for all of them by the end! sorry if this is difficult to understand but im looking forward to what happens next…..
