I remember Lexus issued a fix on some of these. The best thing to do is to contact your local dealership and ask about how to repair it.

If you pull down the middle part of your back seat, you will find an emergency lever about 1 inch away from the top of the opening

+Ava Beamon Thanks for the question. The key hole is under the rear lip of the trunk just above the license plate. You'll have to squat down and look up to see it. I hope this helps! Brock

There's a valet switch in the glove box that you have to push to make the buttons work.. IDK about on right hand drive cars but it should be behind the glove box closest to the radio if that makes sense

Mines make clicking noises but never releases even emergency release guess I’m screwed 😂

Check the valet switch in the glove box. It's closest to the radio while still in the glove box

@@conchim99 my key fob nor the truck latch was working come to find out the valet latch inside the glove compartment was off I switched it back on and it worked. (I have no clue on how the switch got turned off possible with all the shuffling of things in there) I am now able to open my trunk again.
