I decided to take a chance and dye my hair with a new color with using eSalon for the first time. Will it be better than good old fashion box hair dye ?

i came across your channel looking for eSalon reviews andI've subbed :) I LOVE your new colour, it's so vibrant and it suits you. I'm waiting for my first order to arrive (I'm using eSalon in the UK) and my formula is a dark blonde base with red and copper (a slightly higher ratio of red). I have blonde highlights at the moment and I'm both nervous and excited - and my box isn't even here yet!

Check you water. Mine caused me to be itchy. I got a Aquabliss filter and put it on my shower. No more itchy skin!

Hello Eve. Your colour is very vibrant, but can I ask, how long did it last? I live in England and have been using Esalon for about 2 years. My natural colour is, like you, dirty blonde, with greys. I have been asking for dark blonde with gold tones or warm beige which has gold and ash. I have found, and reading the esalon website comments it happens to other customers, that the colour washes out. So the vibrant colour we started with lightens quickly. I did try dark blonde golden mahogany, which was lovely. But after the first wash all the mahogany went down the drain! And my hair ended up yellow. My colourist told me that red shades needed a lot of work to maintain, which will get expensive if you use all the 'enhance your colour' products that Esalon recommends to us. I am experimenting with my next order, due on Monday, with light brown, warm beige, reasoning that while the colour might be dark at first, at the rate it lightens after a few washes it should end up the shade I am after.

Make sure you order a Permanent hair colour option. There are also demi and semi permanent options. Maybe you have one of these by mistake. Hope it helps 😊

I'm not an expert by any means but I would throw it out. Because I think that's why they keep everything separate because once you combine everything you only have a limited time of using it. And it's not worth screwing up your hair
