I remember playing the Blur Open Beta years and years ago. It was the first racing game I enjoyed since NFS:MW 2005. That's a major accomplishment.

Blur is just so good. RIP...possibly the IP and Machinima who introduced me to it. This was such an awesome run. whoo! also, i was like 29 degrees? that's fucking cold. then i realize they meant in celcius. it's so weird, because in my country celcius is the used unit as well. too much online hours.

Mount Haruna is literally the IRL version of Akina from Initial D, so this game has Akina's downhill. Neat. EDIT: It's completely different from the one in this game though.

uh.. did Kuru actually forget that any light you earn does not get saved if you restart from the race end options? because 41:45 you can actually see that he didnt get that fan run light, since he restarted it in race. you need to go into the menu for the game to register it. anyway, i'm really late and haven't finished the video yet but just noticed.

This might be a late reply but... why is the audio completely gone from: 1.- 1:34:28 until 1:35:06 2.- 1:35:35 until 1:35:45 3.- 1:38:18 until 1:38:28 4.- 1:38:45 until 1:39:03 5.- 1:45:40 until 1:46:13 But yeah.... lots more spread across the video after those..

That was such an amazing run entertainment wise :) Also: a german KZbinr by the name of "altf4games" showed the prototype of Blur 2. It's an prototype just before development was stopped. Blur 2 would have been amazing if they were able to finish it

Does anyone know why parts of the video are muted midway? Or is it just me?

They most likely don't upload raw footage, but stuff taken from Twitch VODs. And Twitch has a tendency to mute parts of the VODs if it detects copyrighted material, and this translates to parts of the youtube videos muted as well. It's not bad here, GTA speedrunners and this system have to deal with it a lot more (you know - the radio) and luckily, Twitch only mutes a part of it, and youtube has no problem with muting the whole video for a 10second clip in a 6hour video xD

I was wondering because it was like 10 seconds multiple times, and I don't remember Twitch ever muting videos for a few seconds mid-song xD

Now that you mention it - I don't see any info on muted parts nor the characteristic red parts on the timeline of the twitch vod of this run so it must've been some other technical difficulties.
