meine ex freundin war damals in der deligation 2001 für deutschland dabei...sie hat mir viel erzählt. das muss damals richtig geil gewesen sein. sie hat gesagt das michelle so natürlich und nett gewesen ist wie sie es nie für möglich gehalten hätte. übrigens auch von mir 5 sterne...super stimme suoer auftritt..bloss ein kritikpunkt...wenn schon deutsch dann bis zum schluss

I believe it’s because her voice sounds a bit like donald duck (my only problem with this performance). It’s a good song. I think that 8th place was deserved. But I agree that it is much better in German.

Dein Deutsch kann man sehr gut verstehen. Und das sagt dir ein Deutscher :-D. Du hast Recht damit, dass Deutschland besseres liefern kann. Aber das von Michelle war auch richig schön. Ich denke, dass es nicht an der Musik liegt, warum wir Deutschen schlecht abschneiden, sondern nur an der Politischen Situationen oder besser gesagt, an den Freundschaften zu den Ländern. 10 Jahre später und dieses Lied ist noch top aktuell. Die politische Situation hat sich geändert, Menschen haben sich geändert. Ich habe mich verändert. Wer die Liebe wirklich lebt, hat sein Leben lang damit zu tun, diese Liebe wirklich zu leben. Das bedeutet oftmals einen völlig anderen Lebensstil. FÜR MICH auf jeden Fall.

Germany only had two incredible Eurovision songs in the 21st century that deserved to win. This one from 2001 and Roman Lob's "Standing Still" in 2012. Ironically, both songs just reached the 8th place in the competition. But both were so much better than this Lena girl from 2010/11.

You maybe right, but still, there are better singers out there. I don't think that she is a bad singer or something. This just was not her best performance I guess. I'm not a fan of her because I don't like the sound of her voice (and I'm not into that kind of music), but that doesn't mean I don't respect her as an artist. She tried her best and we've had worse acts on the ESC, so...

My god, 20 years ago. Eurovision was so much better in the 90s / 00s. 20 years later I hate it....most songs sung in English. This year there isn't even one single song that Ilike, so for the first time in about 47years I won't be watching.
