You’ve got the flash pattern sync game all locked up! It’s like every pattern was studied, perfected then fine tuned so it can be put in a specific mode allowing the unit to achieve that crazy purpose of attracting the most attention it can without causing confusion and chaos. It’s nice when the public can see clearly to differentiate an accident scene possibly having a slight better chance they’ll give right away vs having to call out more help because the confused old lady rear ended the even more confused old man who stopped his car to ask best parking closest to the trailer serving fried snickers and Cinnabons. #itsnotacircusitsanaccident

The lighting is terrible Believe it or not lighting patterns have been studied going back to the 1940's Simple alternating patterns with decent dwell time have been proven to be the most visible and recognizable Why do you think railroads still use slow alternating patterns for grade crossings as well as engine conspicuity? Same for aircraft recognition and runway visibility lighting... simple is better

@@virgilhilts3924 slow alternating in park is key, in response you need faster patterns with white forward facing. I've responded with slow alternating prior to carbide and core coming out where it was only one pattern, and then afterwards with faster patterns and white with core, and can say people move out of the way a lot better and a lot quicker. NHSTA has done studies, whelen, soundoff and feniex have done studies. There's a reason patterns have evolved since the 1940's.

@@adama4618 -Funky wild patterns are marketing gimmicks. -Human sensory perceptions have not changed in the last 40 years. Which is what the scientific studies are based on. -But by all means link to a single impartial and thorough scientific study (with data sets) that refutes what previous sensory studies have found... -There is a reason the railroads still use alternating lights at grade crossings, and alternating ditch lights on their engines... Even after doing new studies every 10-20 years trying to reduce accidents. Each and every time the results are the same, that alternating is the most identifiable at the greatest distance/time. -Same for the aviation industry, anti-collision... recognition, beacons, etc. Simple, slow, alternating, dwell time, are the most identifiable at the greatest distance/time. -I started my firefighting career in the early 80's under sealed beams, then halogen, strobe, neon, and finally LED. These funky disco and spaceship light shows are trash and do not conform to basic scientific knowledge on visual perception in human beings.
