I agree, but I’m pretty sure they don’t reveal anything because nobody knows what it is. Unlike in Naruto everybody knew what tailed beast were, and that they are very dangerous. In Boruto nobody knows what it is so that’s why they aren’t making a bigger focus on it. They aren’t trying to do a super ass pull and be like I know every crook and cranny of that eye. They’re trying to make it mysterious and unknowledgeable to humankind and probably need information from the Otsutsuki or from Kara.

There is a theory out there that the Jougan has the abilities of all the Dojutsu's which is why it's called the Pure Eye because all the other Dojutsu's strive from it. And may have all the mangekyou sharigan abilities like Kamui or Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi.

He wasnt trying to kill Boruto. He was trying to subdue him to hold him hostage to trade with Naruto for the one tailed best. That's why he didnt just one shot him. At the end, When he finally decides he does want to one shot them, Sasuke suddenly appears to protect them. He also stated he was bored and wantd to have fun and purposely gave the kids time to scheme so he could "play" with them, the way a cat toys with a mouse before slaughtering it. He just took too long and Sasuke appeared.

To everyone complaining about power levels, Boruto has jogan. Using it he gave a temporary but good beating to Urashiki. Jogan is far superior to rinnegan or rinne sharigan. It's even better than the dharmagan. Jogan is also the reason why Boruto was able to dodge Momoshiki's attacks and kill him.

Jougan has some interesting abilities. I'm not sure whether id call it op or weak either, it's oddly somewhere in the middle in terms of overall strength so far. It allows access to transportation ninjutsu, and being able to see the rifts between different transportations done similar to Sasuke with the rinnegan. It allows you to view Chakra points like the byakugan meaning you probably have access to tenketsu techniques Enhanced forsight/abilities as we see Boruto activates it in moments of where his strength/skill atm is peaking, when he fights momoshiki in the anime he could even perceive his taijutsu with it which is stupid impressive, but he also reads urashiki's whip, which even sage mode mitsuki couldn't track. He can also see bites of the future, not like a pure byakugan can but still partial lil bits of the future so he has some warning of danger. It's not stupid crazy like the rinnegan or sharingan but it's definitely better than the ketsuryugan or byakugan for sure.

3 years of brainstorming. It's quite obvious that Urashiki is just below Jonin in close combat. He only depends on absorbing chakra, escaping, and teleportation. He's merely an intel of the main branch. Urashiki's full transformation is even below Pain level at best.

It's canon in the manga. Appears in the first chapter of the manga (and Sumire Sumire Arc is canon to the manga, was adapted in a novel). But it is gonna be important in the time-skip. Maybe Boruto will re-activated it in the war against Code and his Ten Tails Army.
