Thanks so much for sharing infomation of applying for Portugal digital nomad visa. I'm preparing for it, and I wonder if it is possible to submit a promissory lease contract instead of formal lease contract? To avoid the rental expenses during the visa application review period.

Now that we are after January 1, 2024, can you still come to Greece on a tourist visa as an American, and then apply for the 2 yr residence permit once you arrive in Greece? If so, does the criminal background check need to be apostilled?

Hi there! Thanks for your question. The new law has been extended and it starts from April 2024. As of now, you can come with tourist visa or 90 schengen days and apply directly for the DN permit.
