Escape from New York is the latest Shout Factory Collector's edition to be re-released in 4K. This transfer for this release is coming from Studio Canal, who already put out a 4K release of Escape from New York a few years back. If you already own that, is the Shout Factory worth picking up?

We had the studio canal release here in Australia and I remember seeing it in cinemas in 2010 re released and in HD and love it in 4K

None of the studio cannal versions havev Atmos soundtracks witch for me is the biggest selling point of the scream factory releases..they live Atmos was amazing

Huge fan of this film. I have two versions of the scream factory currently so I might try to find that big euro box. The set Russ is going with would be my next pick.

just got the shout factory 4k today, i already had the shout factory collectors tin case bluray but im not really into these alternative covers, i like the original covers, most of the time.... but this is my favourite movie cuz unfortunately this is the imperialistic dystopian new world order are world is actually moving towards, if the last 2 years didnt wake you up to that than i dont know what will but all i gotta say is, the future is gonna have allot of snake plisskens in it, so better dig deep within and find your inner snake by agendas 2030, 2050
