Thanks dude I plan to eventually! I have a ton of smaller more in depth sequences that I struggled to make feel cohesive in the grand scheme of things. Not every day or location got the same amount of shot love and the repetitive nature of wake up, ride, talk to folks, ride, sleep started to hurt the fast paced adventure vibe i wanted. Some day i will have time and itll be a 5-6 chapter type thing.

Brilliant video with great music, exactly what I want to do next year when I retire. I live in the UK and travel all over Europe by bike each summer in Holidays (vacation). Fancy doing tour in the States, Covid permitting. Going to buy a cheapish bike in New York State and spend the next two to three months riding/exploring. Got friends Northern and Southern states I hope to visit and always wanted to go to New Orleans and Florida. Haven't been to the US since the 1980's mainly in the California and Boston area. You are so lucky having all the different scenery and climates within a few days ride and without the language barriers we have over in Europe. Any recommendations will be appreciated.

Great video! Is that a T100 or 120? How did it do on the highways around 70 with no screen for those long hours?
@BenMachado4 жыл бұрын
t100, last of the air cooled 900 models. Didn't really do any highway on this trip but spent a ton of time well over 70. I ride adventure bikes with a screen but for some reason the bonnie never really feels like it's missing something. The ergo always just felt very natural and comfortable, even when the wind was whippin.

Nice one fella!! Really enjoyed the video editing too. Is that a GoPro on your helmet? Also, what's the mount you use to attach the GoPro to the chin of your helmet?
@BenMachado6 жыл бұрын
Thanks James! Its just the gopro helmet mount, the one with the ball joint. I use a bit of "Sugru moldable glue" to get it to stick better to the uneven surface of my helmet.

Did you do all of this travel on the stock Bonneville seat? That must've hurt.
@BenMachado3 жыл бұрын
Nope! It's a ds003 from dunstall motors, super comfortable, i could have done another 10k no problem. It's funny, between the seat and the constant vibration, the trip actually helped fix my lower back issues somehow.

What sort of luggage did you carry??
@BenMachado6 жыл бұрын
Mr n4rk0tix I had a set of waterproof saddlebags that held all the camping gear, rain gear and bike gear. Then two kriega drybags that interlocked on the back of my seat, one filled with a bunch of clothes I didn’t wear and the other had my camera gear. In terms of cost, I tried not to keep track since, but I‘d say maybe 2-3k tops between all food, camping, motels, gas, coffee, new tires, brake pads and oil.
