Spent summers up there in Andover, with an uncle, aunt and cousins who lived on the side of a mountain, overlooking a lush river valley. Fond memories of a breathtaking, beautiful place.

Lovely video of a hugely underappreciated state. I lived there when I was a kid and have only the fondest memories of our family camper on Trickey Pond, snow sculpture contests at school, baked bean suppers, just the best place to be a kid. Thanks for the reminders. Your travelogues are top notch. Subbed!

Wonderful ride it must have been. As a Canadian born Maritimer, Maine is just simply an extension of this beautiful piece of our Earth. This summer I’ll see my sister in Fredericton, NB, head to Woodstock, cross the border and do the entire coastline to say at least Portland and have some lunch (oysters, lobster rolls) at Eventide. Maine is most wonderful.

I went to school in Maine as well at SFC/UNE in Biddeford almost always had a dirt bike ( enduro and Trials bikes) at school and road/raced often. I also go back often for alumni events at least 8 days a year. Love the state. Great video you really captured the essence of what it’s like to ride in Maine. ❤🏍️👍🍻

Wow. What a fantastic video. I grew up in New England and spent a summer in Kennebunk with my grandparents. This really takes me back. I ride a Triumph Street Twin and this makes me want to go back there and do a tour along the coastline. Thank you for this video.

Great cinematography on two wheels. Highly recommend you plan a trip to Cape Breton, Nova Scotia & explore the Cabot Trail. A few years ago, I did a solo motorcycle trip from NH to Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. I fell in love with Cape Breton. The Cabot Trail is stunning. I took the ferry from Portland, ME to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia and toured Nova Scotia for a week. I’m planning on making the trip again in the near future. Looking forward to your future two wheel cinematography videos.

I love this new video of Maine on a motorcycle, your videos inspire me to go out and ride a motorcycle to some unknown part of the country and, if possible, the world. I love your Triump, that model is not much seen anymore. I have the boneville t120 black, but the model: SE , I still find it attractive. I hope you are well bro and continue rolling that the world is going to end. Greetings.

Hi Chris. Love the new video. This is such a coincidence! Just the other day I was toying with the idea of going on a motorcycle trip from NYC to Maine. I was trying to figure out if there was anyone from NYC who had done the journey, but I was unable to find anything online. I am planning to do the trip in summer, and this would be my first time ever doing something like this, so I would appreciate any advice from you.
@ChrisIronhardt3 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate! It's certainly a trip that I make often. If you want to maximize your time in Maine - the direct route through CT and MA via interstates 84/495 isn't exciting (except for the 50 miles on CT-15). But if you have some extra time, I'd recommend popping up to Hudson, NY and then through the Berkshires in Western MA, and then traverse across southern NH to get to Maine - it takes a bit longer but is a more motorcycle journey!
@ReluctantBikerNYC3 жыл бұрын
@@ChrisIronhardt Thanks for your reply, Chris. And yes, my plan is to avoid the interstates and spend a week or two on this trip. From watching some of your videos, I have gathered that you like to take your Triumph on some pretty long journeys. Do you use a specific map or atlas?
@ChrisIronhardt3 жыл бұрын
@@ReluctantBikerNYC I typically peruse Google Maps for any roads with curves in them - and use Nat Geo's "Guide to Scenic Highways and Byways" if I am traveling somewhere new.

Really glad I found your channel, these story style videos are quite a rarity in the realm of motorbikes on KZbin, keep it up! One question: have you played Fallout 4 by any chance? This Far Harbor you speak of sounds exactly like a location and dlc of the game with the lobster cages outside homes and coastal villages.

Just to let you know, it's Bar Harbor, Maine. And it is as beautiful as it looked in the video.
