Same here kind of. I grew up with an older brother who listened to rap music and I hated it, it put me off music in general. I used to watch a lot of movies with my dad when I was far too young for them, but loved music from movies...my first ever tape caessette was me getting my parents to hook up the hifi system to record it from the taped vhs we had of Escape from New York...the other track i remember being on there too was the intro theme to Broken Arrow. Escape from New Yorks theme is a great timeless bit of music, love Carpenters simplicity.
