Of course the rebel swordsmen and rebel farmers weren't much of a match for you; they are basically a gathering of poor and downtrodden people that Simion had taken under his wing and kept safe and free from starvation or slavery they were otherwise destined for under the highly corrupt nobility of the United Cities (and they in turn kind of gave him a new purpose to life after the death of his family that broke him) If there are any good people in Kenshi, Simion would be one of them. Sure he is a bit gruff and untrusting of newcomers (many have tried to take his life) but he will be a champion for those who have suffered in the world of Kenshi. (Pretty much the only surefire way to join with him is to actually be someone who's lost a limb. I think it is when he sees that you are someone who has suffered as he and the rest of his people had, he is more willing to trust you.)

I recently bought Kenshi after watching your videos. I started out as a Hive Worker with a rock bottom start. I played for 5 hours and things went well at the start, but I accidentally got sold into slavery. I had been training up some skills and wanted to level up my lockpicking, so I walked into a cage to pick the lock. The town guards went up to me and put me in shackles. I then spent three hours trying to break out of a stone camp. Luckily I sneaked out at night when there was a dust storm and a skimmer was attacking the guards at the front gate. I did succeed in getting lockpicking up to level 70 and assassination up to level 34.

Tip: You can train skeletons really fast in the fog islands. If you give them a couple repair kits and send them in for a couple days, they'll come out monsters. Fogmen DO NOT pick up skeletons but still attack them. Getting up around a horde of them can increase your toughness by multiple levels even when your toughness is 75+. Also, because you're constantly outnumbered you'll train your attack skills incredibly quickly. You can also semi automate this by making Burn's jobs Medic -> attacking enemies. Also: Don't know if this still works but, if you have an unconscious fogman, you can pick him up and put him on a pole to attract a fog prince and heavies.

it's cool how games like Kenshi and Rimworld actually have a seriously weighted moral choice. it's not like a Bethesda game or typical branching rpg where you can be 'nice' or 'not nice', but the decisions you make in say, rimworld have a much more vague consequence. the evil colony certainly was morally dark, but look how they thrived. they were successful and safe. In Kenshi, One Punch Man practiced martial arts by capturing and beating people up repeatedly. now he's stronger for it and has overcome people doing the same to him through slavery, and I sincerely hope he uses that as a reason to become a liberator of other slaves throughout the Kenshi world

fun fact, slavery is actually a real great place to train. i get the mod that lets you get strength from mining, and also unlock multiple pairs of shackles to keep in my inventory to carry around while walking between places at rebirth, and just leave people to train. you get just enough food to not die and if you decide to get out of your cage to train your stealth even if you get completely wrecked they'll patch you up and just throw you back in. once you get strong enough and have enough athletics to run away from them you bolt for the wilderness. easy way to train strength, stealth, lockpicking, athletics, etc.

I've noticed that you can spark up your toughness pretty fast in Kenshi. There's this one method I've been using on my solo martial arts (scorchlander) Recommending: 30-50 toughness, can be less if you're careful and know when to stop. Run straight to fireplace near bandits of any kind or other npcs that are standing still or sitting. Make yourself faint, then when you've came back to senses, get up and aggro (red pointer) npc, and if you do it correctly, you make your char faint for 15-8 seconds. Rinse and repeat, and you'll see your toughness sparking up. Also beware of your hp. If it goes below KO point, especially if you do it solo, it's easily game over unless you have godlike regeneration speed around 80+. Myself managed to pull with this method to 89 in few hours from 40 toughness. With that toughness nothing is more hilarious than jailwrecking Holy Nation, them dropping like flies and me just getting little itches.

If you want a spot to catch your breathe while ex slave go to Squin or other Shek towns, the Shek don't bother slaves or ex slaves. I haven't had any problems at least there. And a lot of the major towns have someone with Diplomatic Status, kidnapping or killing them will open to town to be taking over by another faction. Also look out for all of the Meitou weapons when your cleaning up towns, factions and bounties. There stupid good, not craftable or for sale, and worth a lot. Since you won't need them with this character why not make them your trophies :) Make an FOB in a place like Squin or something just like Saitama in his abandoned disctrict house, loving the series thusfar, keep it up Food for thought :)

You should avoid wearing armour with the tag "faction uniform", as wearing that makes you automatically disguised and makes the faction you are impersonating angry if they see through it. and enemies of the faction will see you as an enemy

Maybe you can carry a skimmer around everywhere to get that strength up to ridiculous levels.

I love these kenshi vids but i find it hilarious that since you don't know the lore you're becoming a villain of the continent, almost as in the beginning of the series of One Punch Man, maybe Saitama will find redemption in the future.

I'm surprise that this series goes this long, it is not even proper one and just a challenge, but overall entertaining.

If you set Burn to block and taunt he will not fight, but block against many enemies, so Saitama can fight the rest one by one, this should help if you are totally outnumbered.
