Just wanted to add my appreciation for the excellent historical content and a brief story...was in a store last week that aquires items from businesses that have closed. Sadly, many items were from independent bookstores. Being an avid reader, of course I sorted through and recognized one author immediately. I have mixed emotions as I bought several of Dr. Felton's work immediately. What a find... would highly recommend his titles and maybe support bookstores as well. Again, I enjoy all of the format...

I think i would have been past the thought of survival, and my quote would have been, “revenge was finally becoming possible and that was something to die for.” Of course i didn’t live or experience the horror that they did and i have all this information that they didn’t have until it was too late. Most only found out the truth when they realized it wasn’t water coming out of the shower heads. Taking a moment to recommend the "Escape from Sobibor" TV movie from 1987 that Mark used as the thumbnail. A bit sanitized and with some TV-movie trappings of the era, it's nonetheless very well done and the best representation of the event on film. It's also fairly accurate, it being based on first hand accounts and with survivors (including Thomas Blatt) advising the production.
