This is just the right the material to listen to while commuting from home to the office, or where ever. Calm, collected and professional narration with highly interesting material that is obviously well-researched. In the sea of dramatic, hyperactive adhd material these are real gems. Well done, Sir, thoroughly enjoyed and subscribed!

All of Mark Felton's work is both fascinating and instructive. Educators everywhere can take an invaluable lesson by his method of teaching military history--a curriculum which opens the door to learning others such as political science, sociology, geography, mathematics, and physics.

When I was a kid, I watched “World at War” series. It is pretty good, but lacks detail as it covers the whole of WW2. Mark not only fills in the details, he gives details that nobody else does. Also with footage and pictures most have never seen. I find the commentary to be accurate and impartial to the point of being somewhat controversial at times. Good work! This is the best source of history at this time.

@@keefymckeefface8330 You just reduced an entire country comprised of people - with history and culture going back to before the arrival of Indo-Europeans - to a single conflict that lasted three months. That seems unfair and even undermines the point you're trying to make. That said, the Laplands War is a topic I'm surprised Mark Felton hasn't covered. The Finns want a way out of the war and the Soviets give them an ultimatum - expel the Germans stationed in the country. The Germans resist and thus the Finns and the Germans, just prior allies, fight in the far North of the country. There's a sign that German soldiers left behind - a pretty striking image - that says "In Thanks for NOT Demonstrating Brotherhood in Arms!" A very naïve but understandable sentiment. Funny thing, the Laplands War actually lasted longer than the Winter War that's become such a meme. Eventually, all of Germany's European allies had to bend the knee and change sides. People forget this.

It sounds like there is no Episode 6 right now. Dr. Felton, this well researched series offers a great opportunity to learn about the inherent evil capabilities of humankind. In addition, it has helped me understand the resurgence of "neo-Nazi" sentiments in much of the world, as politicians, industrialists and even religionists promote division, hatred and self interests over universal justice. Thank you for preserving the often overlooked or inconvenient stories of human history.
