Full disclosure, I don’t know anything about guns (they’re all toys, obvs) and I haven’t actually played Escape from Tarkov (although the lore is very interesting and the gameplay seems adequately masochistic), but… here’s an ASMR Escape from Tarkov Mechanic roleplay!
Usually ‘day x of requesting x’ comments don’t work, because they almost inspire a kind of belligerence about specifically not doing that roleplay (I dunno why, maybe it’s a ‘nobody tells me what to do’ attitude), but I’d only heard of Tarkov in passing, and upon researching it I was intrigued, so I decided to go ahead anyway. In the roleplay, there’s a soft-spoken Russian accent, some smoking, and botched gun repairs. Enjoy!

🎙 What is ASMR? 🎧
ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is synaesthesia of the soul. It’s a relaxing feeling, it’s a tingling down the spine, or it’s simply a sleep aid. Whether it’s being ‘held’ by someone you have confidence in, or ‘looked after’ by someone with authority, or just feeling ‘safe’ with someone you trust, it uses audio-visual triggers to enable you to let go of your worries and stresses - even just for a bit.
📽 What is FPC? 🎞
FPC (first person cinema) takes all the relaxing elements of ASMR but has much more of a focus on immersion and the suspension of disbelief. It’s kinda like being the main character in your own short movie, with popular figures you know and love, or entirely created worlds - just for you. There won’t be any visible mics or traditional triggers in these videos, and they will seem more unintentional than the usual ASMR videos - but they are unique and relaxing experiences designed to transport you to different places, worlds, and times.

I am actually a gunsmith, a lot of my friends are gunsmiths. Sorry to say this wasn't realistic, not enough stupid requests from dumb customers and definitely not enough swearing as a detent ball flies across the room and gets lost in the dark dimension where socks and Tupperware go, other than that it's pretty accurate. Congratulations on 150K, Jim! I just saw that it'd rolled over. This was an interesting video for me even though I haven't played the game nor read into any lore...it reminded me of long meandering talks I had with my (recently deceased) uncle while he cleaned his guns. And though we certainly wandered into philosophy & he totally took a bunch of cigarette breaks, there was no Russian (unless any of the guns were, which is more than possible), the accents were Kentuckian, & there was no chatting about crypto. But hell, if he'd been well enough when it was on the rise, we might've wandered into those metaphors, too...he was beyond cleaning guns by then, unfortunately. We're currently setting his affairs in order, & this felt a bit like an affectionate wave & 'goodbye.' Thanks for that, & congrats again!

I love your Russian accent! Strangely soothing for this tried and true Patriot. However, I want to be transparent. The gun sounded too plastic to me at the beginning, not sure why.
