My sister bought her car 6 months ago and never got the oil changed or checked correctly...so i started with an oil change. Only drained .75 quarts. Topped it off cleared the codes with the permament code still on. And it went away by the time we made it around the block also solving her low power issue Edit: only drained .75 quarts because thats all there was :/

Hi, Thank you for this video. I have also these two codes appeared for my car. POO12 & POO14, is it oil change issue ? i can my engine oil is not that dirty or low level. What tools will be required to change these two VVT solenoids ? Many Thanks

@@oscarvillalobos2453 You're welcome & if it's low on oil yes. I'd start with changing the oil and clearing the code. If it resets then replace the solenoid.

Would this code make the vehicle have a burning smell at all? I have the same code and also a bad smell . I've changed the oil and no change

My 2015 Ford fiesta 1.6 .only start a lot.and dont turn on.and scanner say P0012.

I thought p0012 was intake and p0014 is exhaust

I have a 2013 ford escape titanium and they told me it was the cam position sensor? Do you know anything about that?
