Good choice. My wife and I have lived full-time in our 21c for 2 years. Zero problems, well built and easy to tow. We also tow with a Tundra , which also has had no problems. Good luck.

It was interesting to hear your reasons and comparisons. It pretty much was the same models we looked at locally too, that I had originally chosen. When I learned of Escape and did my research, I felt it was the best option for our needs. We actually looked at a 5.0 that was 35 minutes from our house. It was a great experience not only to see an Escape trailer, but also listen to the owner’s experience from the moment they ordered it, to their camping destinations. It took us longer to decide between the 21C, 5.0, and the 23. We chose the 21C for the same reasons you did. We ordered ours last March and ours will be ready at the end of September. We are looking forward to picking ours up soon. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Escape trailers are the exception in a sea of available substandard campers!

Great reviews of the three. We're pretty much where you are for many of the same reasons, however we haven't looked at the Sol Dusk. For us, it was having a bathroom and a bed that we didn't have to make up every evening in order to get into bed. Our eyes are on the E23.

Appreciate the discussion. I am looking at the 21C for the same reasons. The 21NE is nice except for the climb over bed.

The tank capacity of the grey or black tank of the 21NE is smaller than the 21C. Although the 21NE seems to be more versatile due to its multiple sleeping arrangement options.

I have yet to see these in person, just watched through videos, but leaning toward the 21NE due to the bed location. The 21C, with the three walls near the head, seems a bit claustrophobic. But the 21C does seem more popular. Will need to see in person before choosing.

Alright, I've been waiting a month for this review, since you announded the channel. Good job explaining the pros and cons of the three trailers you were considering. Looking forward to your next videos, especially as a new owner, I want to hear your experences. I'd be interested in why you chose the 21C rater than the 21NE. We are going back and forth on those two models ourselves.

I too am very interested in an Escape for the same reasons you outlined. The cost is my main drawback! I will be following you and am extremely interested in how it works out for you over time. Thanks for details!!

Yes, the cost was definitely a huge factor but look at the other manufacturers and you will see the mountain of problems they have. We decided to put quality first and haven't looked back. We don't worry about leaks, structural integrity, or resale value. To us, having a worry about our home on wheels was not an option. Thanks for subscribing!!

Thank you for the review, good information in there. Although I would think you would need to compare the Escape 17 to the Casita to be most similar. That being said I would ask why you decided the 21 over the 19 and did you consider the 23? I am considering the 23 myself. Thank you

I considered the Escape 19 over the 17 because if I was going to get a 17-footer, it was going to be a casita. The casita factory is only a few hours away from my home. The 19 and 21 were very similar in price, so the 21 was the most reasonable choice for us. The 23 was just hitting the market, and I was hesitant to get an all new model the first year of production. If and when I get a new camper, the 23 will definitely be my top pick.

As the Master Chief mentioned, if ordering from the factory and using their 'configurator' to build up the weight and cost with all the options, the 19 vs 21 price difference for us was $2,000. We thought that was easily justified by more tankage, GVWR, interior room and larger showering (bathroom) area.

Casita is really nice but too narrow inside and the interior cabinets are secured to the walls through the walls to the exterior. And its not 4 seasons I think the Escape is 4 seasons and wider interior.

The Escape is wider but is not a true four seasons trailer. Escape does offer an underbelly spray foam from the factory, making it very close to a four season trailer.
