Really had to watch this one! Even tho its wasn't Las Vegas, I was very curious to see how Knot's had changed since I had been there in late 70's. I recalled doing a few rides, and rode one I thought was the less scariest, but that wasn't the case. Indeed the place has changed. When I was there, I also explore the Movieland Wax Museum that was near Knot's. Instead of taking pictures, brought their postcards which I still have. Thanks the great video!

@@paulamckenzie you all would love Dollywood. We went for the first time this year and ended up getting annual passes we plan on going back for Christmas it looks absolutely beautiful at that time. you could get several great vlogs there and the entire Gatlinburg pigeon Forge area. Up until this year we were huge Disney annual passholders and only went to Disney World on vacation with an occasional trip to Las Vegas. Until stupid COVID 👎🏻

Oh my gosh I'm in southeast Michigan not far from Cedar Point- just couple of hours away. The boysenberry beer looked good. 🍻 That Durango sure does love his pie!! 😆

One of my favorite childhood memories is going to Knott's with my parents when I was around 10 y.o.. The attraction I especially remembered the most was the outhouse where you can chat with the "person" in the outhouse. It wasn't until after we left the park is when my mom told me what an outhouse was and what the "person" was doing while in the outhouse. lol Another attraction there, was the optical illusion one. Not sure if any of those two attractions I mentioned is still there, but it was fun seeing in your video how that place Knott's is like now.

He named Boysenberry after his friend Walter Boysen that created the new berry.

Yep we knew that - the wall of history in Virginia’s was really informative! We condensed it into a small segment, for the video. 😊

Seeing Knott's Berry brought back memories of when I was there back in 1991, yes almost 30 years ago. I'm glad Durango finally got some pie; I was felling sorry for him. And yes, I do look forward to seeing your videos on Sunday and Paula's kitchen on Wednesdays, when you are doing them.

This is a great park. Your visit brought back great memories. And how about that chicken!
@paulamckenzie4 жыл бұрын
That chicken is fab - we actually stopped on our way back to the hotel after the park closed, and had a chicken snack - sitting in the dark at the picnic tables. Yum!
