House no. 2 was so perfect. All they had do was build a staircase from the balcony to the garden for the dogs. They had 25 thou left over from their budget. This way they connected the upstairs to the garden too.

Supply basically. If there are no detached houses in their price range, it'd be a sad show. Here is one house that's way over your budget (IoW is pretty pricey to start with) and there's nothing else.

I think that running a B&B is a heck of a lot of work. There are 24/7 days through the season, then a huge amount of upkeep off season.

Why show them a boat when they wanted place in yard for tents for visitors and very difficult for dogs on a boat to clean them when they return from their walks. Imo

This cottage is SO quaint...so charming I love it. Just 6 miles from the sea!!!!! I have large dogs and house # two is NOT a house for dogs...carpet and upstairs bathrooms.

Average detached home in Uk in 2018 was almost 20,000 more than the average 2018 value of the semi-detached structures was £225,674. While terraced homes was around £194,000

Agree there was a family bath on the ground floor they could clean dogs there and dry them off before going upstairs.

And they could make the downstairs entry way have tile so they could wipe their feet when they came in and the dogs would not track dirt all over the carpet. If I had dogs, I wouldn't dismiss a great house like that because of a pet. It was only 4 minutes to the sea too!! Beautifully done home and cheaper than what they were expecting.

With all fees attached to owning a boat, your b&b should earn you 200k a year in order to make you some money. But this couple can't even figure out way for their dogs to enter a house. Sooo
