I’ve never been apart of a cult or relationship like one but I cried listening to Joy & Mariah’s stories. My heart is breaking for them and their situation. I can’t even imagine what all y’all are having to deal with on a daily basis. Listening to all of this is very eye opening. I wish you guys the best. This is such a great interview. Thank you Joy and Chelsea! I love you stressing that the manipulation in a cult is the same as in abusive relationships and toxic work environments! So true. My brother's wife is abusive and followed very similar subtle strategic grooming tactics to get control. I have also experienced it myself in a toxic work environment. Thank you for having the courage to share your journey and change lives.

Lots of Botox and that upper lip flip filler that’s so popular now. It’s funny when you go back and watch movies or sitcom from the early 2000s and nobody has filler and how much different everyone looks now with all of this plastic in their face

Ngl, scientology is still more confused with a religion and because of its structuring its hard for people to see it as a cult rather than a religion or organization. I think your trying to pull at something that is harmless and not worth it to try and make a big deal.

It is truly ironic and just silly to watch Chelsea say that cults suppress you if you have an opposing view and yet her and all her friends refuse to acknowledge what Isreal has done in Palestine.
