I love that you can actually see the brain cells of opponents dying as you advance through the ranks to high GSP. Yeah the lower level people may not know exactly how to play the game but they're taking their favorite characters and actually trying. Then you make it to the higher ranks and fight the "Best of the Best" Samus, Dark Samus, Link, Young Link, Toon Link, Ness, Lucas, Zelda and other characters that just fun away spamming their one or two online abusable move. These are the people that should be going to tournaments and taking home all the money.

I can confirm it can be awful with controller mapping now. For example I tried it with my sister shortly after the patch came out and within a few rounds she just made a controller layout that only let me move and jump (which is usually impossible). Imagine the things you could do by actually trying to be annoying.

When you play four matches against three random opponents and end up on regular Fourside, regular Icicle Mountain, and a double helping of regular Balloon Crossing, and you lose 500k GSP in one match because you lost in sudden death after spending five minutes doing nothing on iceberg because you couldn’t hit without approaching and you couldn’t get to the high ground without being attacked.

I’ve loved playing as Ganondorf ever since his debut in Melee. Yes, he was basically just a Captain Falcon echo fighter in that game, and he got worse in future games before he got better, but his “Ultimate” incarnation is easily his best and most fun ever. I love that they went with the Ocarina of Time design and gave him a sword to further distance himself from Captain Falcon.

Hey HopCat I got a nice little idea for a video: Assist Trophy endurance Rules: 1 vs 1, enable assist trophy item only -Player 1 (P1) and Player 2 (P2) take turns at summoning assist trophy's -only one assist trophy is allowed to be on the field -P1 and P2 are not allowed to attack each other -P1 must knock out P2's assist Trophy before the timer runs out. failing to K.O. the assist trophy gives the P2 another turn. This repeats until P1 can knock out the assist trophy then the roles are reversed and the process repeats -any items droped by assist Trophy's belong to the Player that summoned them. You are not allowed to use items that are dropped by the assist trophy you battle. (this further encourages beating the assist trophy early before they can summon items) -the match goes on until either player loses all stocks/stamina (free of choice) *All Assist Trophy's that can be K.O.* Hammer Bro. You can block people online on your Switch. I normally do it if they have a really bad connection. Once they are blocked they won't turn back up online. User settings > manage blocked user list > block user (y). It saves some headache when it comes to laggy connections. Also, love the content from you man.

Most of my characters are stuck in the 100k GSP hole, but I have a few that aren’t and let me tell you that if you’re above 2.5 million GSP about the only characters you’ll find are campy samuses, links, Zelda, lucina, roy, and ness. I’ve been stuck between 3-5mil GSP forever and these are the only matches I find. I constantly run into these laggy campy players who I absolutely can’t do anything against. If you do nothing, you get hit, if you approach, they move. Not only that, but some of these players use ridiculously horrible rule sets in order to cheese the opponent. I find it absurd.
