Uncross the legs yeah but no real opponent is gunna let you shrimp out of mount that easily, uncross the legs and aim to get space between the hips then bring a knee in to frame and grow distance... You're not going to shrimp and have your entire torso clear if your opponent has done at least 1 month of BJJ

Seems to me that the guy is riding way too high. If he was lower and locked his legs around the thighs I’m not sure that technique would work.
