Best KZbin channel for Jiu Jitsu content. People who have him as a full time instructor are very very lucky. True genius

JJM seems like a genuinely good person. It looks like he cares about and respects his students, as well as his instructors.

I’ve been to many BJJ gyms and I have to say ALL of the trainers and guys have been some of the nicest most welcoming people I’ve ever met. What’s crazy though is when they are in competition or defending themselves, when they “switch on” they become skilled killers, crazy how some of the nicest most calm guys are actually the most dangerous.

@@BudgetGainsByJJ#Truth!!! But for Jean Jacque, he is an absolute legend and sweet heart! He truly believes that jiu jitsu changes lives. So when he says be a better person than you were yesterday he means it. Only had the pleasure of training under him a few times. Still haven’t been to the new facilities yet either.

@@justinhoughton6114yea I agree. Martial arts in general are needed as a lifestyle requirement for some individuals. When I began any form of fight training I felt this sense of freedom that I’m unable to explain. For me whether it was boxing, Judo or BJJ etc. I felt free like I was committing to my life purpose or something. I gather that this sense of freedom makes us better people. It humbles us down and teaches us to respect one another.

Wizardry through circular motion. A beautiful display of concepts, remaining calm under pressure , using the opponent’s weight distribution and movement while combining techniques to escape. This is pure, fundamental Jiu-Jitsu at the highest level. Nothing complicated, just simple techniques executed with perfect timing. Excellent teaching.

I thought it was one of YOUR a videos that trapped the foot from mounted by laying your complete leg out and across the foot instead of just with foot?
@kevincox9279 Жыл бұрын
Carlos Machado likes putting his leg across the foot. I started using it a lot after watching Carlos teach it. Works well.
