My Summer is almost here in Australia, and its going to be rad. My winter consisted of muddy rides, cross country races, lots of stacks and broken hangers and derailleurs, watching sick KZbin videos from my favourite mountain bike channels on KZbin and lots of fun rides with the boys.

A little history for you if you didn't know, that Fire hydrant is part of the old fire suppression system that they built on the mountain while they were still logging the mountain. There have been some major fires on Grouse and Fromme. Actually if you stand next to the hydrant and look east and west there are hydrants running the width of the mountain every 50m or so. A pipeline connects them all, it's why pipeline is named as such, as it is visible as you ride down the trail, you roll right over top of it! :) It's pretty neat!
