Lachlan is an amazing instructor and athlete. His understanding of body movement and momentum is really high level. And he was an amazing competitor, putting his knowledge to the test, on top of that he was able to set up a business and run a school. That mate is Marcelo Garcia 2.0

Thanks Lachy. I know the legwork is super important but I haven't seen a video like this showing some actual techniques with the legs. I'll be giving up my back some more for a little while.

Thank you for the solid defense lesson. I like the way you teach, conceptual and application together, not just one off moves and techniques. Would you consider making a dvd on defense in the future?
@AbsoluteMMAStKilda5 жыл бұрын
Possibly! Not immediately planned but at some point it would be great.

Great details Lachlan! Any chance you can do a back escape tutorial when your opponent ha# trapped one of your arms, before they sink in the RNS??

What if the person isn't trying to slide under to retake the back, but instead goes to their knees with a tight seatbelt and then sits you up to retake your back from a seated type position. I hope that made sense. Thanks!

Thanks a lot for another great video. I have two questions: 1. What do you do when your opponent switch to an armbar by hooking your flared out elbow with his other hand b4 you grab and secure the wrist with the other hand around your neck? 2. Can this escape still work If your opponent locks his legs around your hips?

What if they triangle their legs?
@Ponder_lust5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the video. Definitely the first time Ive seen the leg pummeling details. Does it work when the opponent has a locked body triangle as well?
@AbsoluteMMAStKilda5 жыл бұрын
No, but check my most recent upload. It shows how to use this escape vs the body triangle.

Will this work against a long legged guy with a tough body triangle? Haven’t had the chance to try it with any of the guys that destroy me with body triangles.
@AbsoluteMMAStKilda5 жыл бұрын
No not with the body triangle. Well, sort of. I use this same escape, but I have to do something first to make them unlock the triangle. I have that part coming over the next 2 weeks
