Its a purposeful theme put in to make it more likely that a Zombie Apoc could actually happen in the world. Rather than people going "Oh crap, zombies, headshots!" and the ZA ending easily.

An action drama of Military guys in the military, it happens. Go, run.. there's a safe space out there somewhere.

@@brotherhorse1 Actually, I think a well disciplined force would not be cursing non stop like that. But I guess that's why they are making such stupid decisions. They are not well disciplined. Cursing adds no value to a story line and is a weak attempt to generate excitement and emotion. Good writing would have the same effect. And yeah, I will run away from this story line, if the guys had run away from early when they saw a mass of people overwhelming the base (even their commander said to leave, but the cursing joker still stuck around causing the death of a couple of his conrads) so they all could have lived. So running is good. Is there a safe space? Oh yes, there are actually stories on the internet that are exciting and the writers don't need to be cursing non stop to get your heart rate going.
