Escaping The Heat Wave Camping At The Mogollon Rim 7500' Elevation

In this particular video I head to the Mogollon Rim near Payson, Arizona to escape the heat.
Welcome to my channel PandaMonium. My name is Ausia and my dog's name is Moo-moo... my rig is the Lucky Panda, a 28ft 2018 Coachmen Leprechaun towing a 2008 Chevy Colorado or sometimes a trailer and 2014 Can-Am Maverick 4 wheeler. I live full-time in a motorhome off the grid with 700ah of Battle Born lithium batteries and 950 watts of solar. My channel is about living and traveling in my RV to different locations across the U.S. with various friends that I call my tribe, where we camp, hike, bike, paddle board, 4 wheel, go to events and venues, eat at different restaurants and explore new places. Certain times of the year I'm at my homestead in Williams the high desert of Northern Arizona where we are working on projects, homesteading, gardening and try to practice permaculture and being off grid & self-reliant. Just wanting to be honest & open I am transgender and part of the LGBT community. I welcome anybody with an open mind and heart.

Hi Ausia really enjoyed your drive to the rim as that was where my family always vacationed/camped years ago.Zane Gray has his cabin where he did most of his writing at Kohl's Ranch which is near Payson. WE got to see the original cabin before it burned down.....they rebuilt it. We are very familiar with the Mogollon Rim area and it sure brings back good memories! We used to go out Lake Mary road a lot in the 60's. My Dad did a lot of the pioneer moon mapping(Apollo missions) at one of the o srvatories out there. Love that area.

The lake mary rd. you went down is where i camp all summer. I keep my tralier at Happy Jack lodge storage when i go to my house thats east of Phoenix. I love going to flagstaff on lake mary rd. , its such a beatiful drive . I never get tired of it. That whole 50 miles is national forest on both sides , So its all despersed camping. Its getting very popular as Phoenix grows bigger. Maybe we will see up there camping

That was (Google Maps Street View ) when that person was walking in the parking lot with a camera on a wagon . Now when they post it you will be able to go to that address and see your rig on Google Maps 📸
