Yeah, it has been cold but that Polar blast with ice and all is literally south of us thank God. After what we went thru with Helene and all, a most welcomed relief. My granddaughter just moved from the PNW to the Pensacola area. By early PM on 1/21 they had about 5" of snow! She has her snow gear and board, she's ready! You kids have fun in the tropics, safe travels!

It was 12 degrees here this morning and appears to be about 10" of snow! I believe both are definitely record breaking statistics.

We left Michigan to get away from the cold weather and are in mid state Florida right now. They are predicting an ice storm where we are. I guess it is better than the negative temperatures in Michigan. Hopefully the weather will warm up soon. Enjoy your trip to warmer climes. God bless.

There was a snow and ice strom in 1988 at the Holidays. I drove up to Pensacola. from Clearwater cars were all over roads due to ice and snow stranded and wrecked cars

I live in Ft. Lauderdale and have for over 50 years and about 30 years ago I was a property manager and got a call one evening I was working late with a friend and her kids called and said ask Mom if wecan go play in the snow I said yes and did not give it another thought until I realized that there was a lit of noise outside went and looked out the window and it was snowing kids outside running around barefoot in the snow. The only the me I was thrown for a loop as it was snowing. That was the only time I remember snow in Ft. Lauderdale. I am now 71.

Then they use their advertising budget to pay us commission on our sales and send the top 20-30 sellers on a trip like this. It’s a SUPER motivator for us to make more sales. It’s an early flight, it’s a 3 hour trip to Miami with a lot of gas. And flying from Tallahassee is not significantly more expensive than flying out of Miami.
