Too bad :( thought it would have been an easy fix, but there's something moving underneath the soldered case tap right below the processor... With broken screen, battery and now also mainboard it is cheaper for my client to buy a new new device and to come to me to restore data. Anyway, good job! Idk why but on the device I have here, the processor case was glued to the phone's body with a pink membrane which isn't thermal paste

Unfortunately each sensor needs a different and device specific driver, besides, each sensor has a different connector, and they are not two sensors with the same pinout or even the same form, so that's only possible with modular phones or mods like Motorola does with their Moto Z line

not sure if you wanna do that (it's impossible anyway) to use the 12mp sensor for better selfies, but the 20mp one isn't really that good, its a f/2.0 sensor and thus doesn't do good in low light and in general the quality and color reproduction is much better on the rear 12mp one

This phone DOES NOT HAVE OIS, that little movement it's used to help focusing... Anyways the Redmi Note 6 Pro has EIS, which fortunately works awesomely well... Also that's not an IR "sensor", it's an LED blaster, it's not meant to receive signals, it's meant to send them
