you know what, i genuinely enjoyed this set of sanremo songs (although the show itself is incredibly long😭) i honestly wouldn’t mind any of my top 9 winning (even tho i know emma and ana won’t go to eurovision if they do win) and sorry for the short clips, i really wanted to avoid copyright claims thanks for watching!

If I'm not mistaken Emma didn't really say that she won't go at the Eurovision in case she wins. She is doubting due to the sexist criticism she received back in 2014 at the Eurovision stage.

I know Sanremo very well and I can clearly say that this edition is not weak. A lot of people who will see Sanremo especially for the first time will be disappointed, as they expect songs in a more European style. But unlike all other European states, the Sanremo Festival is by no means a competition dedicated to Eurovision, which was almost unknown in Italy until last year, but it is a real celebration that has been going on for 72 years (older than Eurovision) with the sole purpose of maintaining and renewing the tradition of Italian music. In any case, in my opinion Elisa and Mahmood's songs are certainly the best. P.S. Ana Mena was not appreciated as she was accused of plagiarism ( her song has the same melody as a famous song called Amandoti by Gianna Nannini).

Compared to last year it is weaker. "Musica leggerissima" would have won easily this edition while last year they barely made it in top 10

Musica Leggerissima wasn't liked by Eurovision fans last year though... This year they remember enthusiastically that song. And "Zitti e Buoni" was disliked by a lot of Eurovision fans after Måneskin won Sanremo, but in the end they won Eurovision too. In reality, Sanremo and Eurovision are very different: the important thing is simply vote in Sanremo the winner of Sanremo, what you like the most, not what you think it will be better at Eurovision. If Italians send what they like, no matter the result in Eurovision, they will have no regrets. Simple as that.

Brividi first listening gave me the same feeling when I first listened to Arcade, Voilà, Répondez-moi, Tout l'Univers, this music is a piece of art, if they send this in Torino, they will do the best definition of "The sound of beauty"

Elisa is my winner by far. Mahmood and Blanco my second. It's the first time I agree this much with Press Poll. But honestly Elisa was so lucky to get in Night 2 since all the favorites of Press Poll performed yesterday and this might have split their votes, while Elisa had no direct competitors... so the real favorites might still be Mahmood and Blanco

The expectation were high as last sanremo selected the eurovision winner, so I can see a lot o people being underwhelmed but still is not THAT bad. Probably Italy won't even came close to win again but the quality is guaranteed this year as always.

From the recap of the songs I can say that this San Remo edition is very weak. I'm disappointed. I can't even have a top 3. The only songs I liked is Giusy Ferreri and la Vibrazioni. I will listen again the songs with their videoclips.
