Escudero, inirekomenda si Angara bilang susunod na DepEd secretary

Inirekomenda raw ni Senate President Chiz Escudero si Senator Sonny Angara bilang susunod na Department of Education (DepEd) secretary dahil sa experience at track record ng senador.
“I recommend him to become the [next] DepEd secretary, given his competence, track record, his experience in the education field. But at the end of the day, desisyon at pasya ng Pangulo ’yan dahil ’yan ay position of confidence,” saad niya.
Ngayong araw, July 2, 2024, inanunsyo ni President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. na si Angara na ang papalit kay Vice President Sara Duterte bilang DepEd secretary matapos nitong magbitiw sa pwesto noong nakaraang buwan.
