Walton’s neglected masterpiece - should be heard more often. Why not?

Menuhin does this with Walton Conducting. On EMI, it is great but only the LP as the transcription to CD is poor. Best digital in my collection is Nils Mönkemeyer.

This violist should really play Bruch Kol Nidrei and some other adagio pieces to help cultivate a much bigger tone.
