I have been watching this for the last couple of days.. 8.00 onwards, I am speechless. I am a mother of 2 kids from a very traditional family and I know my family will never allow me to learn belly dancing, this video was so helpful, thank you for the moves. Why does society imprison the next generation when they have so much talent and know what they want!?? Dance is not about entertainment, dance is the language of the Soul. Its Divine. Wow it's nice to see your dance,ishan is the best belly dance in india and his body part is actually flexible like sakira basically I don't have any technic and not even know the dance step but while I saw this dance my mind made up that I can also dance like ishan such a good dancer but unfortunately I am from nepal if I there,I could dance like other guys do as being seen ishan's technic like maya...the name you have given is little bit funny but it's easy way to remember ,best of luck for all guys from nepal...

A taksim is an instrumental improvisation. There really aren't names for the movements. Westerners made up names when they began teaching. That move is a figure 8. But in the countries where the dance is part of the native culture you learn by assimilation by trial and error. Children imitate the adults at weddings so there is no need for names because its learned informally.
